  • Everyday moments are my favorite kind. I love working from candid phone photos, the silly, tender, joy-filled images you can't stop looking at. Professional photography is always welcome too, but it's absolutely not required.

    The best photos are the ones that feel emotionally alive and meaningful to you.

    If you're interested in a larger portrait, I'll always let you know whether your image resolution will support the size you'd like. We can work together to determine the largest size your image can successfully accommodate.

  • A Surprise Portrait is a 6"x8" original portrait where you send me a photo you love and I create the piece entirely as a surprise. You trust me with the interpretation, color, composition, and artistic details. The finished artwork arrives ready to hang or display on a shelf on a 1.5" gallery birch wood panel.

    These portraits are fully artist-led and designed to embrace spontaneity, trust, and play! Great for gifting or if you want a few of multiple subjects!

  • For custom portraits, I create 2–5 initial mock-up concepts for you to choose from. I pull color, pattern, and compositional inspiration directly from your photo, but I'm always happy to incorporate colors or details that feel meaningful to your home or space.

    Once you choose your preferred direction, I create the final piece and send a photo for approval before varnishing and shipping.

  • Surprise Portraits typically ship within 4 weeks.

    Custom portraits typically take 6–8 weeks depending on size and current studio schedule.

    If you need a portrait by a specific date, feel free to reach out — rush orders may be possible depending on availability!

  • Yes! Portraits can be of anything, or anyone, you love. Families, pets, grandparents, homes, favorite moments, silly snapshots, vacation photos... if you send me the photo, I'll make it work.

    There are no additional charges based on the number of subjects.
